The Static Murmur was the first review of 2009 by Mick Mercer, and describes the album pretty well.

"It’s another superb album, because they’ve taken their time, possibly too much time as it’s been four years! It’s beautifully produced, has more than enough variety and endless layers of lyrical idiosyncrasies to ponder upon.

They are special, and this highlights all their abilities, but there should be even better to come. You can just sense it."
